This month, Pat Rundall, NØHR, will give a presentation on touring the Titan Missile Museum near Tucson, AZ and using the coldwar-era discone antenna system on HF. This impressive antenna was manufactured by Collins Radio for the US Air Force and was left for hams visiting the museum to use.

The Story County Amateur Radio Club will meet on Thursday, October 3, at 7:00 PM with an in-person gathering in Grand Room 1 at Northcrest Community combined with an online meeting via Microsoft Teams.

Club president Clint Miller, K0GR, will present a live demonstration of Autodesk Fusion 360, computer-aided design (CAD) software, to design an amateur radio item intended for 3D printing. He will also bring a Prusa MK4 3D printer to demonstrate making a product during the meeting.

Our September 5 meeting starts at 7:00pm and will be our annual "Show and Tell" format. Participants will each have a few minutes to share new equipment, techniques, or experiences acquired in the past year.

Attendees may share their items in-person OR remotely via our online meeting. The remote presentation option may allow you to share items with the group that might be too large or fragile to transport to an in-person club meeting.
