The next meeting of the Story County Amateur Radio Club will be at 7:30 pm, Thursday, November 4, 2010, at the 4-H building on the southwest corner of 13th Street and Stange Road in Ames.
The program for the November SCARC meeting will be on Emergency Power. This will be an expert panel discussion on powering your shack using batteries or generators, battery charging devices, electric code, transfer switches and other schemes to get power into the house and shack.
