The Thursday, December 1 meeting of the Story County Amateur Radio Club will feature Mike Howell, KD0ISU, RACOM Radio Tech, who will discuss using Software Defined Radios (SDR) to monitor Public Safety trunked radio systems. Mike will also discuss how online scanners work, including his experience hosting a livestream audio feed.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in North Conference Rooms A and B on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Parking is available near the north entrance. This meeting is free and open to the public; annual memberships are available for $10 each.
