The Story County Amateur Radio Club will meet on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Clint Miller, KC0JUO, will lead a discussion of the club's preparation for Field Day 2017.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in North Conference Rooms A and B on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Parking is available near the MGMC northeast entrance. This meeting is free and open to the public.

The Story County Amateur Radio Club will hold its next meeting on May 4, 2017. We will meet at the southwest parking lot off Dotson Drive by the Ames Middle School at 5:45 PM for a field visit to a world-class contest station operated by Toni, N0NI. The Story County Amateur Radio Club (SCARC) will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017. The program topic is "How to cook a fox", a presentation by Claus Niesen (KE0LMQ) on building a Raspberry Pi-controlled fox transmitter for 2M/70cm FM voice mode.

The meeting in Room 1020, Extension-4H Building on the ISU Campus, located on the southwest corner of Stange Road and 13th Street.

This meeting is free and open to the public, and parking is available just west of the building.
