There is NO regular club meeting scheduled for the first Thursday of August. Many folks are traveling or have other summer plans, so we have traditionally skipped the formal August meeting, however, our third-annual August potluck social/picnic will occur on Saturday, August 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Following are the basic details about the event:

The Story County Amateur Radio Club (SCARC) will meet on Thursday, July 5, 2018. The club will conduct a post-Field Day review, prepare for upcoming public service events, and receive an update on Iowa QSO Party plans.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in North Conference Room A on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Parking is available near the MGMC northeast entrance.

The Story County Amateur Radio Club (SCARC) will meet on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Guy Payton, KE0CHJ and Lisa Payton, KN0WME, leaders for Area515 -The Des Moines Makerspace Ham Club will give a presentation about the Des Moines Makerspace organization and its amateur radio special interest group.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in North Conference Room A on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Parking is available near the MGMC northeast entrance. The meeting is free and open to the public.
